Stagnation brings me down. I have this inner itch to see the world. To live project to project. Instead of weekend to weekend, I live trip to trip. The time between gets lost in the grand scheme of traveling the world.
Getting out of my comfort zone every few years seems to turn back the clocks. It keeps me young. Challenging myself and feeling the fear of the unknown makes my heart pound! I put pressure on myself constantly to try new things, but travel does something totally different to the human psyche. It’s a moment in life where time bends on itself. A little backtracking never hurt nobody.
Then the ego steps in. Ideology is replaced by reality. But still. Regress to progress.
I love making and living off of tie-dye. It feels limitless. Untethered to so many doubts about living a consciously creative lifestyle. Liberated from social conformity.
But still. I got bills to pay. And I sure would love a cup of coffee.
