About Marco | amalfimap.com
Hi, I’m the person behind amalfimap.com
I’m not a travel journalist, a big media company, or someone who has figured out the perfect way to travel. I’m just someone who became a little obsessed with the Amalfi Coast and started noticing how unnecessarily difficult it can be to actually plan a good trip there.
There is a ridiculous amount of information online. But it’s scattered everywhere, often outdated, sometimes contradictory, and usually written without much thought about what you actually need when you’re standing on the coast trying to figure out where to go next.
So I started building amalfimap.com
The idea is simple: create genuinely useful, honest guides about the Amalfi Coast, based on the things I’d want to know myself: how to get around, where to stay, which beaches are actually worth it, what towns feel like, when to visit, how the ferries work, where things get complicated, and all the little details that can make a trip much easier.
I’m building the project independently.
So if you’ve found one of my guides useful, buying me a coffee is a small way of helping me keep working on it. It pays for the time, research, maps, hosting and all the unglamorous little things that go into building something like this.
You definitely don’t have to.
But if amalfimap saved you some time, helped you make a better decision, or simply made you a little more excited about your trip — thank you. And if you buy me a coffee, know that it genuinely helps.
Buon viaggio!
