How to Trust the Bible (Even if You’re Skeptical)
You don’t have to have it all together. God doesn’t ask for blind faith — He welcomes honest hearts. If you’re skeptical, start with this prayer: “God, if You’re real, show me who You are.” This is a simple yet real prayer request. Know that doubt doesn’t disqualify you. Some of the greatest people in the Bible doubted — even Thomas, one of Jesus’ disciples, questioned His resurrection until he saw proof. Jesus didn’t reject him for it; He responded with grace.

Read One Book at a Time (Start with John)
Instead of jumping around or starting in confusing parts like Leviticus or Revelation, begin with the book of John. It’s a love letter. It tells the story of Jesus clearly and personally.
As you read, ask:
“What if this is true? What does it mean for me?”
“These are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah… and that by believing you may have life in his name.”

Let the Fruit Speak for Itself.
Look at the lives of people who genuinely follow what the Bible says — not just those who preach it, but those who live it. Do they have peace in chaos? Joy that doesn’t come from stuff? That’s fruit you can’t fake.

Be Patient With the Process
Trust doesn’t happen overnight. God doesn’t rush. He just asks that you stay open. One verse might hit you deeply when you need it most — and that’s how it begins.
