From the Desk of MomJonz 💕

Today was one of those days.

My middle daughter called this morning as she was heading back from her dentist appointment to tell me the tire pressure was low on her sister's car. No worries. We would handle it.

Later, she invited me to lunch. (And by invited me, I mean I paid. Apparently, "I'm just a girl home from college" is a perfectly acceptable explanation.)

On the way, we stopped to add air to the tire. She suggested I wait for her dad. I confidently ignored that advice, because HEY. I know what I'm doing.

Everything was going fine until I decided to add air to all four tires because I was feeling extra responsible. One of the tires immediately started losing air.

YIKES!!!

Then, after lunch, I stopped by the grocery store. As we were walking across the parking lot, I somehow launched my key fob underneath the car parked next to us. There I was, in the rain, on my hands and knees, trying to retrieve it while my daughter watched the entire situation unfold.

A true Mamas and Coffee moment.

As I drove away, I couldn't help but laugh. Because life is funny like that. One minute you're feeling capable and productive, and the next you're crawling around a parking lot wondering how exactly you got here.

But here's what I realized.

So many of us spend our time focused on what went wrong instead of giving ourselves credit for all the things we're doing right.

• We're showing up.

• We're loving our people.

• We're doing our best.

• And that counts.

So if nobody has told you lately, let me be the one to say it:

You're doing great. You are capable. You are needed. You are loved.

And you are absolutely FABulous.

Now straighten that crown and keep going, friend.
