About Malaceo
I’m Malaceo—an interior designer, artist, and storyteller whose work lives at the intersection of art, travel, and culture. My design philosophy is rooted in the belief that interiors are more than beautiful spaces—they’re personal narratives shaped by history, heritage, and experience.
Over the years, my journey as a designer has evolved into something even deeper: a lifestyle of intentional exploration. I’ve chosen to live as a full-time solo traveler, immersing myself in the world’s art, architecture, and design traditions. From minimalist Japanese ryokans to the bold geometry of African modernism, I draw inspiration from every place I visit—and infuse those stories into my work.
Through Malaceo Interiors, I create spaces and art that honor the richness of Black design, global craftsmanship, and soulful living. My goal is to design interiors that don’t just look curated—but feel alive, layered, and meaningful.
This journey is more than a career shift—it’s a personal evolution. Every country I explore, every museum I wander through, and every conversation I have with local artisans deepens my understanding of what it means to live beautifully and authentically.
Whether I’m designing a room, curating a gallery wall, or capturing cultural textures through photography, I’m constantly inspired by the ways art and design connect us all.
