We're building MaineStats.org because public data in Maine shouldn’t feel like a scavenger hunt.

Maine has a lot of useful public data, but it’s scattered across agency sites, PDFs, dashboards, CSVs, spreadsheets, and systems that weren’t really built for normal people to use. MaineStats pulls that data together, cleans it up, and turns it into charts around housing, jobs and wages, health, climate, environment, cannabis, elections, and more.

The goal is simple: make it easier for Mainers, reporters, advocates, local officials, researchers, and curious people to see what’s actually happening here.

We're keeping the site clean and free to use. No ad clutter, no popups, no shady selling of your data. Sponsorship helps cover hosting, data storage, refresh jobs, tooling, and the time it takes to keep adding sources and checking that the numbers actually make sense.
