When the Present Moment Holds the Pen as You Narrate the NEW
There comes a point when presence is no longer experienced primarily as a place where you wait to see what happens next.
Presence becomes the place from which you author what happens now.
This is a different relationship with the present moment.
You are not standing outside of NOW waiting for it to reveal the next page.
You are not sitting before an unwritten future hoping that the right instruction eventually arrives.
You are not requiring another sign, another code, another sequence or another layer of permission before you allow yourself to put pen to page.
You are here.
And because you are here, the pen is here too.
NOW Has the Pen
There are seasons when waiting is wisdom.
There are moments when listening is necessary.
There are passages of life where guidance provides the next step because you have not yet seen enough of the terrain to know where the road leads.
But presence does not always mean waiting.
Sometimes presence means recognizing that you have arrived at a place where you are no longer being asked merely to receive the next instruction.
You are being invited to author from where you already stand.
The present moment becomes more than something you inhabit.
It becomes something you participate in writing.
This does not eliminate Divine guidance.
It changes your relationship with it.
Guidance can remain present without becoming governance.
Inspiration can contribute without becoming command.
Revelation can illuminate without replacing authorship.
Co-creation remains open, but you are no longer absent from the authorship of your own experience.
You have the pen.
Presence Is Not Passive
Presence is often described as stillness, observation, awareness and receptivity.
And it can be all of those things.
But presence can also be creative.
Presence can choose.
Presence can decide.
Presence can originate.
Presence can prefer.
Presence can author.
There is a difference between being available to what emerges and believing that you must wait for something outside of your own knowing to emerge before you are permitted to move.
The first is openness.
The second can become dependency.
Mature presence does not require the disappearance of guidance.
It simply no longer requires guidance to replace your own authorship.
You can listen and write.
You can receive and choose.
You can be guided and still govern.
You can remain open to Divine co-creation while recognizing that the hand holding the pen is also yours.
Narrating the NEW
There is something powerful about narrating life from inside the reality you are presently living.
You are not writing retrospectively about who you used to be.
You are not attempting to predict who you will eventually become.
You are narrating from HERE.
The language can emerge because the life is already being lived.
The sentence can form because the experience is occurring.
The page can move because NOW is not waiting to become worthy of documentation.
And sometimes the NEW becomes clearer precisely because you begin to speak from within it.
Not explain it.
Not defend it.
Not compare it endlessly with what came before.
Narrate it.
What is true here?
What do I choose here?
What do I prefer here?
What am I creating here?
What gets written because I AM here?
Those questions do not have to become another assignment.
They simply remind us that presence has a voice.
And presence has a pen.
The Page Does Not Have to Arrive Prewritten
Divine co-creation does not require life to arrive as a completed manuscript that you are only permitted to read.
There can be room for authorship.
There can be room for customization.
There can be room for desire.
There can be room for preference.
There can be room for an idea that originates with you and is then met by guidance, expansion, refinement, provision and possibilities you could not have manufactured alone.
That is still co-creation.
Perhaps one of the most liberating shifts in authorship is realizing that openness and sovereignty do not have to compete.
You do not have to close the room in order to hold the pen.
And you do not have to surrender the pen in order to keep the room open.
OPEN ROOM.
AUTHORED LIFE.
Both can be true.
Write From Where You Are
There may be no announcement telling you that the relationship between you and the page has changed.
You may simply notice that waiting no longer feels like the most accurate posture.
Something in you knows.
Something in you prefers.
Something in you is ready to write.
And the question changes.
Not:
What am I supposed to wait for next?
But:
What do I author NOW?
Then you write.
And you remain open.
You choose.
And you remain receptive.
You narrate.
And you allow the Divine to meet you inside the narration.
The NEW does not always arrive as a message handed to you from somewhere else.
Sometimes the NEW appears beneath your own pen as you write from the fullness of the present moment.
Because presence is not merely witnessing the page anymore.
PRESENCE AUTHORS NOW.
And the author is already here.
