Buddy Suite is two linked plugins by Mad House Audio for mixing and mastering, made for House, Tech House, Techno and their neighbours, with 32 genres in all.
Mix Buddy is a channel strip that knows what’s on its track (kick, bass, hats, vocal…). Put one on each track.
Master Buddy goes on the master. It meters, masters, and listens to every Mix Buddy in the project.
They talk to each other with no routing. The kick’s Mix Buddy tells the bass when it hits, so the bass ducks exactly on the kick. Every Mix Buddy reports what it’s doing to Master Buddy, and Master Buddy’s assist can listen to the whole song and propose fixes, each one explained. Nothing changes until you accept it.
The Mad House Audio ecosystem
The betas of VERB-O and Tape Echo join the same link. Master Buddy lists them, hears their wet signal while it learns, and proposes moves for them: tempo-fitted decay and pre-delay, synced echoes, a clean low end and top, ducking under the vocal or pumping with the kick, and the wet level. Accepted moves are covered by the same UNDO.
Beta for members
Buddy Suite is in beta. Pro-ducer get the beta, together with the linked VERB-O and Tape Echo betas, in a members-only post.
