Good news — Maddie is showing signs of improvement! He is alert, responsive, and eating on his own. His blood pressure and temperature are within normal ranges, and most importantly, he has not had any new seizures.
The doctors say he is now stable, but he will need to stay in the hospital for another 3–5 days so they can continue monitoring him closely and adjusting his medications to reach the right therapeutic levels. While he still has some partial vision loss from the seizures, the medical team has started him on treatments to support his recovery, and there is hope he may regain some of his sight with time.
