Good morning all, my talk on 9th February 2026 is now being held at Plymouth Methodist Central Hall, East Lake street, Plymouth. PL1 1BA.
The talk starts at 11.00 am and is run by the U3A group. The U3A movement, established in the UK in 1982, aims to encourage groups of people no longer in full time employment to come together and keep learning. Those not yet in the group are allowed to attend 2 or 3 talks for free to see if they would like to join the group or not.
The Methodist Hall is a great venue and the monthly meetings usually have an audience of a hundred people or more.
My talk is called "Fifteen Plus One", and is about fifteen people who remain unidentified since 1968 in the Devon and Cornwall area. The "Plus One" is the gentleman known as Some Mother's Son and whose story I have been investigating for over a year now.
I enclose a video I made about six months ago which introduces the talk. The second video is a video I made in 2017 about beach litter. Somewhere along the line it would be handy for me to come up with a viral video or two that could help fund the above work.
