Hi!

I'm an alternative/ Indie singer songwriter/ composer with Classical influences based in the UK.

One of my earliest memories is sitting on the floor motionless and spellbound as my dad played Beethoven, Debussy, and Rachmaninov on our old upright piano when I was four or five. It seemed like magic!

I started messing around on our piano, playing by ear, copying TV themes and making up melodies and, in my teens, started writing songs. My early influences were The Beatles, Elton John, Elvis Costello, and Billy Joel, but didn’t get to listen to them too much as I shared a room with an older brother who owned the stereo, so I had to listen to whatever he played. My musical diet tended to be Iron Maiden, The Damned, ELO and Black Sabbath mainly, with Blondie blasting out from my eldest brothers room - I didn’t mind though as they were all total classics!

I’ve been commissioned to write classical works, music for fashion shows, contemporary dance and theatre installations; but song writing has always been my real passion.

At present, I’m a professional acoustician and was privileged to complete my dream job, the acoustic design of the new Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.

I’ve just started to release my songs as curated EPs, and occasional singles drawn from both new works and my archive written over the years.
