Our Journey to Parenthood
We're intended parents who've been trying for our miracle baby for four years.
We turned to surrogacy because I live with cystic fibrosis, and carrying a pregnancy myself was considered too high a risk to my life and to our baby's. So we placed our hope in another path to becoming parents.
In the years since, we've been through one failed transfer and two miscarriages. We've learned more about hope and heartbreak than we ever expected to, and we've spent over €100,000 chasing a dream that most people get to take for granted.
We have one embryo left.
We're sharing our story partly because it's been the loneliest thing we've ever done, and partly because we know we're not the only ones walking this road. If you've been here, you understand. If you haven't, thank you for caring enough to read this.
