I’m an independent writer, researcher, and archive enthusiast based in Margate, with a deep obsession for uncovering the town’s forgotten past — from overlooked local figures and archival documents to ghost stories, scandal, smuggling, and the stranger corners of social history. Much of this research feeds into my publication Borrowing Cats and The Margate Archive, alongside talks, walking tours, and ongoing hands-on historical work rooted in original material.

I also run Nerdin’, a space for my wider interests in sci-fi, horror, weird history, cult entertainment, and collecting — because curiosity rarely stays confined to one subject. Whether it’s vintage books, obscure memorabilia, or lost fragments of history, I’m always on the hunt for the weird, the overlooked, and the culturally interesting.
