I wrote this story when I was a child, in the 3rd grade of elementary school. The assignment was to write a short story using our imagination. After a few months, I found out that the writing would be evaluated and was part of a contest in which thousands of students from different schools in Bogotá participated. With this story at 9 years old, I won first place in the contest in the children's category, a triumph that I still celebrate today. It has been a process to understand that this short story was a seed that my soul brought to this life so that, when I felt ready, it could germinate. I decided to name my creative workshop: Blue Apple, to honor that short story and my creative expression through writing. I trust that this project will bring many beautiful and valuable fruits, just as the tree in this story did with the blue apple.
