Hello,

I'm Lucia Eggen, a Slovak artist living in Prague, Czech Republic. I create original paintings inspired by animals, walks through Prague streets and nature, and magical moments hidden in everyday life.

I share my home with two tuxedo cats and a standard poodle named Bubble, who has been my greatest muse and inspiration. I'm currently working on a collection of paintings inspired by our walks called Wanderings in Wonder with Bubble, accompanied by stories that will one day become a book.

Last year, Bubble was diagnosed with cancer, and I was told she has 6 - 12 months to live. Since then, she has undergone surgery, chemotherapy and numerous tests. She is now responding well to an experimental treatment, and her latest scan showed that her tumours are shrinking, which is wonderful news.

The treatment, however, is long-term and expensive. Bubble still needs ongoing medication, CT scans, check-ups, tests and possibly another surgery.
