About F.r.I.e.n.D.s Together
Peer support group for adults 18* struggling with Invisible illnesses.

Hi, I am Luanne Gibbons, I am the founder and group leader of this amazing community group.  I started this group because I also struggling living with 5 mental health diagnoses and a list of of invisible illnesses and disabilities, loneliness and isolation. My passion has always been to help others and I am now using my experiences that have lead to mental health to help others who are are on similar but unique journeys of their own. I have a strong Christian faith and strongly belief that this is my calling in life. 

To enable this awesome group to provide a good strong programme, to support our members we rely heavily on donations and funding and you now able to buy myself or my team of 7 a coffee to help F.r.I.e.n.D.s Together raise the necessary funds for our peer support group for Adults 18 + struggling with Invisible illnesses, mental health, loneliness & isolation.   


We provide a safe and non-judgemental environment, for our members to come along to once a week, to socialise, learn new skills through Arts and Crafts, Walking group, exercise (to start shortly)    With other people who are all on similar journeys living with their invisible illnesses. We help build up a strong network of support and friends. 

Your kind donation will be used towards making this group even more successful and help so many more people out there that will benefit from coming along to F.r.I.e.n.D.s Together.  Together we grow stronger. 

These are the things that your contributions will go towards: 

• Office and venue hire fees
• Public Insurance
• Staff and Volunteer expenses 
• Website costs
• Phone 
• Refreshments: coffees / teas / snacks
• Healthy freshly cooked meal
• Stationary & replenish Arts/crafts
• Professional Workshops & supplied materials: 
 * painting
 * Different crafts
 * Pottery
 * Garden planting
 * Aromatherapy
 * Reflexology

• Exercise groups
• Walking groups 
• Days out
• Transport costs for members
