Happy Thursday, Friends!
Yesterday I finished up 9 mini and 3 12x12” vispos! Woohoo! I now have about 20 small pieces for the show, however I may omit a few. I also want to work on 4-5 medium size pieces. I’m calling all the small pieces “Souvenirs”
Once all the pieces are done, I move on to the real finishing process of fixative, varnish, and wires for hanging, etc.
If I have time after all that is done, my goal is to organize a few framed texts that consist of definitions for words and ideas that inform my work, such as glitch, Vispo, and palimpsest. As well as maybe some corresponding poetry.
Stay tuned for how things progress with that!
I also have several working titles for the show. I thought it may be fun to get my friends and supporters to weigh in on what you think is a good fit.
Here are the titles I’m contemplating:
“Searching For A Thread”
“conTEXT: Visual Poetry on Canvas”
“Debut: A Lova Delis Vispo Story”
