Established in 1995, the Louise Brooks Society is a website and online archive devoted to the silent film star famed for her bobbed hair and role as Lulu in the silent film, "Pandora's Box." The LBS has inspired an Emmy-nominated documentary and helped bring Brooks own book, "Lulu in Hollywood," back into print. It has also published 5 books and numerous articles, contributed to film restorations, conducted research, curated exhibits, sponsored screenings & talks, maintains a long-running blog, and more, lots more.
