We’re login.jp, a creative collective/platform based in Tokyo, striving to create and archive vivid, authentic portrayals of daily Japanese life by blending music, culturally relevant local locations, and storytelling. Our focus is on the diversity of the Japanese experience – the Japan that we know – away from the glamour of temples, cherry blossoms, and the city. From DJ sets inside third-generation fish stores to interviews in shotengai (local shopping markets) storefronts, we shine a light on the cultural spaces that shape everyday Japan. 

As a team with international backgrounds but roots in Japan, we created login.jp to share our perspective on the locality we’ve come to appreciate, having lived with one foot in Japan and the other across the globe – bridging inside understanding with an outsider’s curiosity.
