Hi, my name is Liz Walker and I will be visiting Ukraine in October. I, with others, will be visiting some of the charities/community groups that I have supported since and before Ukraine was invaded by Russia three years ago.

My trip, flights and all personal expenses have been paid by myself out of my own wages. ALL money donated will go directly to those who need the help. I have no connection with any of the organisers of the groups I am supporting other than that of a donator previously myself.

I am asking anyone who is reading this to consider 'buying me a coffee' This will be a direct way of making a donation to the groups that I will be visiting.

For security reasons I will not give a full or detailed itinerary but I can tell you that if you wish to target a specific area of need you can stipulate one of the following:

1. An organisation that helps support the displaced persons and those in need from one of the regions most impacted by the brutality of the Russian invasion.

2. Teenagers being supported to take part in projects across Ukraine. these normally last a few weeks and involve helping reconstruct much needed facilities in damaged communities. These volunteers not only work for free but also beg for and collect donations of, and to buy, food, materials and other vital resources to keep their communities functioning.

3. I will be staying for a night or two with a family living in previously occupied areas. Here community kitchens and food distribution for those in need due to damage to housing or utility infrastructure and there is a constant need to help those older or people who no longer have a place of paid employment.

4. A charity which supports the children of the fallen heroes, there are now over some 13000 children in Ukraine who have suffered this traumatic loss. Often exasperated by loss of homes, schools or complete communities.

All monies raised will be used to buy food, good or resources in the locale of the groups supported. If there are any monies left over they will be donated to the groups equally and I will be overseeing this personally whilst I am in Ukraine visiting the groups
