I am a maker who focuses on Movie Props and Movie Prop Replicas. So, most of what I do has some connection to a movie somewhere. I do some original stuff that I use for practice. I will use pictures of real movie props (sometimes right out of the Movie) to make my designs. However, without the real prop to go off of, this is tricky to get perfect. I do use AI sometimes and prop stores to get images of what I want to make. This helps with the actual size and color. I have always been a maker of some sort. When I was young and Star Wars first came out, my mother could not afford to buy me all the ships and things to use with my action figures, so I made them myself from cardboard and such. 3D printing has opened up a new world for me. Now I can make just about anything that I can design on the computer. Making props for me is a passion, from blasters to books, from known movie props to original prop designs.
