What can you do differently to support Web3?

Corrales Cachola said, “Culture is the differentiator in web3. And your story can be attached to it.”

That got me thinking. Because I kinda dropped off the Web3 band wagon. Or maybe it’s that I’m in the band wagon, I’m just not sure if it’s moving. The most Web3 thing I still participate in is Starbucks Odyssey. They have the elements of Web3: community, not focused on Jargon, content…

Corrales continued to ask a series of questions. All things which I think I can do differently because I do believe in Web3. Digital ownership, breaking free of social media platforms, making the web weird again. I think I started doing then when I began my book project two years ago. It’s been a while since I’ve worked on it and so much has changed.

How can your story shape this future?

I think my story can shape the future of Web3 since I work on the cusp. I get to work with smart, creative people who have big ideas about technology and culture. AI isn’t what you think. Innovation requires imagination. Talking about it and sharing those experiences and thoughts will help shape the future because the future starts with iterations of ideas from today.

Where do you fit in?

I got in as a storyteller and writer. The other way I got in is because I’m curious about Web3. I want to try different platforms and ideas. I gave Mirror.xyz a shot. I got a .eth domain.

But where does it go from here?

2024 is a new year! Who knows where it will go from here. Corrales is hosting a LinkedIn audio event on January 31. I think that’s a great place to start.

How do you want your story to fit in?

Who doesn’t want to be an innovator or thought leader in this space? But that can’t be one’s story. You have to create, participate, and do.

How can your lived experiences provide solutions that are a benefit to others?

Right here is where the work happens. Web3 is mystical and unknown to so many people still. Brands here about it and want to start making ROI on their Web3 activations right away. What happens when you have a native Web3 brand, customer, or experience? By being the person who experiments and trys things, we can make the Web3 road easier to navigate.

How can this vision inspire your audience, community, content, products, and brand?

If this blog became a space to share Web3 communities and experiences that would be awesome!
