Letterlings grew from a simple idea: to make abstract letter shapes more accessible to young children by building a bridge between the unfamiliar shape of a letter and familiar things from their everyday world.

Today, that idea is growing into a little world of books, games and learning materials designed to help young children discover, recognize and remember letters through meaningful visual connections.

Behind every Letterling are many hours of experimenting, designing, testing and refining — from finding just the right familiar thing for a letter to developing materials children can explore at home, in kindergarten or in the classroom.
