When I started Life Between Titles, I made myself a promise. I said: give it everything you have. And if it hits certain milestones, you have to take it seriously. You have to stop treating it like a side project and start treating it like what it actually is.
Looking at the numbers, the conversations, and the feedback coming in over these past months, I think we’re there.
But doing it the right way has always meant something specific to me.
People trust me with their stories. They sit down, they open up, and they share some of the most vulnerable moments of their lives. A job loss. A reinvention they didn’t ask for. A season of life that was hard and confusing and sometimes still unresolved.
I do not take that for granted. Not for a second.
Part of what drives me is making sure I am a good steward of every story that comes through this show. That I handle it with care. That I protect it. That when it goes out into the world, it reflects the person who shared it — not what I wanted it to be, but what they meant it to be. Their words. Their truth. Their story, told with integrity.
That is the responsibility I signed up for. And I think about it every time I hit record.
So before anything else, I want to say thank you.
To every single guest who came on this show to tell your story. To sit across from someone and listen to them talk about some of the hardest moments of their life is a privilege. I am genuinely honored to be the person in that seat.
You chose to be vulnerable. And that took courage.
This milestone belongs to you.
Now, here is what’s coming.
We’re going deeper. More exploration of the mental health side of job loss and career transition, because that part doesn’t get talked about enough. And more tactical too. Practical conversations about what actually helps when you’re in the middle of it and you don’t know what your next move is.
And we’re launching something I’m genuinely excited about: Work, Unscripted.
Work, Unscripted is built around one simple belief: there are people out there doing remarkable things. Unconventional paths. Careers most of us have never heard of. And their stories exist to inspire, to instill hope that what they’re doing isn’t impossible. That it’s real. That it’s within reach for someone watching at home who maybe hasn’t figured out their path yet.
Hope is what we need more of right now. And stories are the best vehicle we have for it.
