Thank you for your curiosity about my work!
Firstly, I am a storyteller, poet, and artist, living in Scotland.
My primary creative practice is writing. Poems, short stories, prose poems all form part of how I like to tell the world of the things that I observe, whether of my inner world, or the world that I dwell in.
I have indepently published three collections of poetry and prose poetry and I am currently working on my next volume of poems.
My creative practice is deeply rooted and informed by motherhood, marriage, healing the inner child, my faith, and mindfulness, and I use poetry as a healing tool, in my own practice, as well as with clients.
My approach is gentle, curious, and rooted in the knowledge that words and our inner conversations are powerful, that practising creativity is healing, and that each of us has stories that are worth telling.
I adore reading, my garden, walking the beauty of Scotland, long conversations with the ones that I love and share my life with, chasing beauty, stitching words, and so many other things!
