I love building software, solving problems, and turning complicated things into something simple and useful.

That’s exactly what we’re doing with CalmCompliance.

After more than 30 years of building software, including creating and eventually selling a successful software business, I wanted to get back to the part I enjoy most: actually building products.

CalmCompliance is our attempt to rethink compliance, facilities and operational management from the ground up. We’re building the kind of software we’d want to use ourselves: simple, modern, flexible, and increasingly powered by AI.

I’ll be sharing the journey here as we build it, including the technology, product decisions, experiments, mistakes, successes, and probably plenty of things that don’t work first time.
