Over the past several days, I have been working extensively behind the scenes on the #SaveSnuggles campaign. While much of the public sees social media posts, the reality is that advocacy involves countless hours of media outreach, phone calls, emails, strategy discussions, public records research, and conversations with attorneys.
I'm excited to share that two media outlets we have been actively contacting have agreed to cover Snuggles' story:

Media attention is often one of the most powerful tools available in cases like this. Public awareness creates accountability, encourages transparency, and ensures that important questions are being asked.
In addition to media outreach, we are continuing to interview attorneys and explore all available legal options to help Snuggles and his family. As many of you know, Snuggles is a 2-year-old livestock guardian dog belonging to a military veteran and his family in Tucson, Arizona. He has spent nearly eight months in a shelter following a first-time bite incident on his family's property. The bite victim, the children's grandmother, is actively advocating for his release.
This campaign continues to grow every day. The #SaveSnuggles story was one of the top trending news stories on X for four consecutive days, and supporters from across the country continue to contact officials, share information, and demand answers.
There is still a great deal of work ahead, but we are making progress.
