Über le giraffe
I'm le giraffe. I build small, slightly silly, carefully-made things on the internet.
Flip 7 started as a personal itch. I loved the little press-your-luck card game — the one where every single turn is a real decision — and I wanted a version I could open in a browser at midnight and share with a link. So I built one: AI opponents with actual personalities, live rooms for eight friends dealt from one shared deck, a global Hall of Fame, and a giraffe who turns up when you least expect it.
It's free. No paywall, no login wall, nothing hidden behind a subscription. That's deliberate, and I'd like to keep it that way.
It isn't free to run, though. There's a domain, a database holding every game and streak ever played, servers keeping multiplayer rooms in sync, and a great many late evenings.
One coffee covers a few days of hosting. Three cover a month. Beyond that, it's the thing that makes me open the editor again on a Tuesday night and build the feature someone asked for.
And if the game ever made you say "okay, one more round" — thank you. That part's already the best bit.
