The Partner Program on Medium.com is changing! Which is not necessarily good for a small-timer like me...
There's a payout minimum now and some other things I'm still figuring out, etc.
Because of all this, I'm going to be adding my link to BMAC to my sign-off message on Medium and doing fewer posts behind the Medium paywall. This may seem counterintuitive, considering that I already only make mere cents there per month and now there's a payout minimum.
My reasoning behind that is that maybe with more reads (readers don't often appreciate paywalls) I can actually earn more tips utilizing BMAC.
And who knows, I may eventually leave Medium altogether. I like it there and have enjoyed contributing and earning here and there with their partner program, but unless you're in good with their various communities, you don't get much traction anyway.
So if you have been a Medium Supporter of mine - I truly appreciate it - and am not going anywhere just yet. But feel free to check back here for updates on how you can best support me as a writer.

As of today, July 31, 2024, the VERY BEST WAY that one can support me is by simply following my latest Kindle-Vella endeavor, Mother Mars, which has been entered into a KV contest called The Vellys. The contest ends Aug. 20, and it is as much a popularity contest as it is a writing contest. The Follows are The Votes! It doesn't cost a dime to follow but from what I understand, you will need to be logged into your Amazon account to follow the link.
