In a place where nature is scarce, every plant that manages to grow feels like a small miracle. Though the landscape may seem barren at times, it is here that I am reminded of the resilience of life—how, even in the most unlikely environments, growth can take root.
Though we are not yet where we hope to be, this space we occupy is temporary, a stepping stone toward the future we envision. But rather than focusing on what isn’t yet, I choose to nurture what is here now. The sparse greenery, the small patches of life—these are the quiet victories. Every leaf, every bloom, reminds me that beauty doesn’t have to be grand to be meaningful.
Sometimes, the most profound changes come from tending to the small things, patiently waiting for the right moment to bloom. So I will nurture this place, and in doing so, I will nurture myself, knowing that the journey, though long, is made up of these quiet, transformative moments. 🌱
