Rhondda coal mining valley, a dragon my dad painted when I was a child, a crafty Oz wine 🍷 and sunset over Cefn Mawr, high mountain at the head of the Rhondda looking over the Brecon Beacon range towards Brecon
Past the Penderyn distillery I cross the mountain pass at dusk and walk around quaint Hay on Wye, with 2 pints in the Three Tuns c.1600 before sleeping under the incredible bright starscape on Malvern Hills 🌌
Next morning I load up 65 litres of fresh water from the spring and wend my way to Ludlow and onto the wild Mitchell's Fold stone circle, I will recount the legend at the finale of my travels! 🎷🎶
Past old mine workings I trot 1600ft up the Shropshire Stiperstones range to finally sit in the heights, the legendary Devil's Chair beyond huge granite boulders overlooking the gentle rolling Welsh hills with the Long Mynd behind, I played Loch Lomond up there on saxophone!!

I found a holy well near Oswestry and supped with Mr P in Darwen, Lancs with laughs over 3 bottles of 🍷
