She's a busy girl, my Tacoma!
She is getting an undercoat tomorrow morning, so she isn't as susceptible to the ravages of road salt this winter. She's also getting her first oil change (with me at the helm, that is) since I've already put 7,000 miles on her.

She now has sideboards so I can step up into and down out of the cab without damage to the edge of the seat or the plastic siderail inside - it makes a huge difference!
All summer long, Betty has been lugging stone, heavy cardboard, tools & equipment, bags of garbage, and has hauled all the booth materials for the HQ table at our 27th Annual RiverSweep cleanup on Sept 12th, and is headed to UVM on Monday so I can get started with a cohort of students on expanding the Culvert Crawlers program to other parts of the state!
Later this fall, she'll be bringing me up to Montpelier to present the Culvert Crawlers program to town road crews and other staff for the annual "Municipal Day." She'll also be bringing a bunch of bulky styrofoam blocks to a recycling event in White River Junction (part of this journey is building a network of people around some effort to hold a similar event in Springfield!), bringing some materials for a tabling event at the Springfield Food Co-op's Customer Appreciation Day, and more.
