My goal is to fill a gap. macOS has long lacked a native tool that makes it easy to create a wide range of bootable USB media.
Windows has Rufus. macOS has macUSB.
I believe in openness and technical integrity. I want to make servicing both modern and older computers easier by making it quick and convenient to create installation media directly on modern Macs.
I also believe that tools that solve problems like this should be open and accessible to everyone, without locking features behind a paywall.
