Hi there 👋 - My trail name is Alpha-Gal, some just call me Kriz (short form of my KrizAkoni YouTube channel name). Notably, I occasionally hike with an old school Kelty White Cloud pack. Currently, we're section hiking the AT for the second time and documenting our journey... Help cheer us up on a dreary day with a hot cup of coffee!

In late 2024 I started a thru hike of the Appalachian Trail. I started SOBO from Katahdin in September and continued South in November until the weather stopped me. I restarted in February from Springer in GA and hiked North in a traditional manner, finishing on 15AUG2025. With over half the trail completed prior as section hikes, I feel the need to finish these and have a second hike complete.
