Dear Friend
Thank you for taking a minute to read this text.
Please let me tell you what this is all about.
Some time ago I have released the PULsE software, which is the only available open-source analysis platform for LFA devices. These devices are used to get information on the thermal properties of a material by measuring a short temperature transient in a sample. This transient is the input used in PULsE. My software does just this -- it loads LFA raw data (virtually from any device! - provided some format conventions are maintained) and outputs the thermal properties. You know, these things that engineers in aerospace, nuclear and other industries rely on to make sure their systems run smoothly.
I did not ask for external funding when developing PULsE. Seriously. I have never ever fundraised and I didn't do this for a salary. You can say this was my hobby. Coincidentally, I have published several high-quality journal publications describing the algorithms inside PULsE, so please don't think I am some kind of crackpot. I am not re-inventing the wheel either. I did it because I wanted to help the community of LFA users, to which I personally also belong. Because I feel there is a lack of quality products such as PULsE.
Maybe PULsE will never be as popular as other commercial software suites. But what it will always be is - a quality product with fully tested and cross-verified solutions. The most honest and trustworthy solutions ever.
I am truly proud this software exists. I wish other users of LFA instruments would be able to enjoy its functionality -- always free of charge! I ask you to use it in your daily experiments, be it for commercial testing or private research projects. Together we can make the world better. PULsE will help you avoid most pitfalls you would otherwise face with alternative approaches.
If you decide this project needs your support, please take a few moments to buy me a cup of coffee using this cool web-service. If, for some reason, this is difficult to do at the moment -- then please drop me a line (either here or using my e-mail address) about your experience (whether negative or positive) of using PULsE.
I rarely get any feedback but I am always there if you need me!
Thanks a lot for you support friend!
Yours
Artem
