Hello everyone, I’ve been experiencing writer’s block on the next part of the Ulster Invasion story due to life struggles. While I battle systemic racism and ableism in the process of accessing care for my disability, I figured I’d give you something to enjoy and look forward to. Here are some scenes to anticipate in the next part; Daughters of Nemain

Alero mediates by giving a history lesson about the Women of Nemain Coalition which the Daughters of Nemain draws inspiration from. (including the origin of gender neutral pronouns in the Nemain dialect)

They say the first sin was disobedience.
But I think it was something else
A whisper in the garden,
Led to a hand offered with more love than logic.
She believed the hiss in the leaves.
He believed her eyes more than the deity in the sky.
And maybe that was the real trespass:
Love & Trust.
What is a prayer,
When the one you adore looks at you like an AMEN?
What are commandments beside a voice that calls your name like a song?
Maybe heaven had rules,
But earth had her.
And that was enough.
Let them say we’ve strayed.
Let them name it sin.
But I’ve found something holier in your touch,
Than in all the psalms I ever learned.
And if paradise is lost for this,
Then maybe it was never paradise at all.
