I've commissioned a painting of a Ukrainian Battle Cat from Lindy Lou Arts and am auctioning it on eBay to raise funds. All of the funds will be used for volunteer initiatives (not going to my "general fund") in the Kharkiv region.
You may not have been aware, but Kharkiv has been hit very hard in the last few weeks, specifically against energy infrastructure. What this means is that we are now dealing with daily power blackouts, metro outages, and everything that goes along with the loss of electricity in addition to the nearly daily bombardment by S300 and X-59 missiles. Driving, which was already difficult, has now increased in danger due to there being limited traffic lights!
Hell's Kitchen is currently running into difficulty providing services due to being based in a building that was not designed for the electrical loads that we require. We have been forced to reduce our use of ovens due to causing overloads that knock the entire building off the grid. And this was before the rolling blackouts caused by the Ruzzian infrastructure attacks. We continue to produce the same amount of food, but our hours are longer due to not being able to produce baked goods in parallel with the main courses.
