Today, the Faculty of Law proudly joins the entire Mohylianka community in celebrating 410 years of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy — one of the oldest and most influential centres of education, scholarship, and freedom in Ukraine.

Throughout centuries, the Academy has survived imperial bans, Soviet repression, and now war — always rising again, proving that the power of knowledge outlives any tyranny.
This day, however, is not only about celebration.
It is also a day of remembrance. We honour the memory of all those who gave their lives for Ukraine’s freedom, including members of our community, and of all whom Russia has killed in its war of aggression.
We celebrate — and we remember.
We build — and we honour.
We are proud of the past and committed to the future that they fought for.
