I'm an ophthalmologist and clinical vision scientist with interest in ophthalmic genetics, paediatric retinal conditions and retinal surgery.

Research is critical to improve diagnostic accuracy and therapeutic possibilities for rare eye diseases, an area I'm passionate about. I try to contribute clinically meaningful work to educate clinicians and bring the quality of patient-facing aspects closer to that reached in basic science.

Involving trainees in this work helps develop life long interest and secure the future of ophthalmic genetics care. All this is done in my 'spare' time - evenings, weekends, late into the night. With your support, I can transition this to more traditional working hours.

I plan to start creating educational content and will offer a limited number of one-on-one virtual coaching sessions for those seeking guidance in clinical ophthalmic genetics.
