My name is Kira, I am a trans woman, and I need your help to fund my Sex Reassignment Surgery (Bottom Surgery).
Over the last year, I have invested my time and energy into helping our community. I put aside my private life and the struggles of living as an immigrant after saving my family and children from the war in Ukraine.
I have no financial support from my relatives, so the community is the only place where I can ask for help. All of my time and finances go toward earning a next degree in psychology to become a clinical psychologist specializing in LGBTQ+ care, which will take several years. Unfortunately, my transition is not covered by insurance or government assistance, and every step has to be paid for out of my own pocket.
I struggle with living in a male body, and from the very beginning of my transition, I knew that I needed Sex Reassignment Surgery. I had a consultation with a gender clinic in Thailand and was approved for the procedure. It was a moment of true happiness because I finally had a chance to feel whole and live a complete life. At the same time, I was filled with fear because of the financial burden and the risk of losing this opportunity.
I have been waiting to take this step for a long time, and only with your support will I be able to do it.
