The Four Musketeers: A Swashbuckling Solo Game

This is a solo, push-your-luck card game played with a standard deck of regular playing cards. Designed for one player and lasting around 15–20 minutes, it combines simple blackjack-style number play with light but challenging tactical decision-making.

You control four Musketeers, building attack values by dealing cards to them each round. The goal is to defeat all of the Cardinal’s Guards before your Musketeers are overwhelmed. However, drawing too many cards risks exceeding a value of 11, causing a failed attack and a wound.

Each round introduces new threats from both the Guards and the Henchmen, forcing you to balance risk, timing, and resource management. With minimal setup and scalable difficulty, the game offers a compact but engaging solo challenge using only a deck of standard playing cards.
