I'm using this space just now to help raise money for my two wounded animals - Tern the Bird, my thoroughbred mare, who somehow broke a fence and tore open her chest and is in the vet hospital, and Sidney the Lurcher, my rescue boy, who broke his leg. You may imagine the vet bills. The vets are brilliant, and life-saving, but my emergency fund got emptied out in one morning.
