I have just completed my first book - LOCI - a collection of autobiographical short stories based on ten years of globetrotting, moving places every few months, starting from zero over and over again. It is a meditation on the dualism between movement and home - what it takes to move, what we take with us, what we leave behind - on meeting people and maintaining relationships, on the role of immigration authorities, on adaptation and tolerance, on bouncing from job to job looking for some Thing. There's blood and break-ups in the process; there's a bit of growth and creation, too.
