One thing that heavily influences how I build applications is my day job. I work as a Senior TSE, which means I spend my days seeing exactly how software breaks, how users get confused, and how edge cases can bring a system down.
I bring that exact mindset into my independent development projects. Rather than just rushing features out the door, I build with troubleshooting in mind from day one. For example, in my current React Flow project, I prioritized building a robust in-memory rate-limiting system and strict CSP (Content Security Policy) rules right from the start.
As a support engineer, you learn that good error handling and secure architecture aren't just "nice to haves", they are the foundation of a usable tool.
Thank you to everyone who has bought me a coffee recently! Your support validates this meticulous approach to coding and allows me to spend the extra hours required to build software the right way, rather than the fast way.
