Welcome back to another update! Several of you have asked about the environment I use to build my web projects, so I wanted to share a quick breakdown of my daily driver setup.
Right now, I'm doing all my development on Fedora. I’ve found it provides the perfect balance of stability and up-to-date packages for modern web development.
On the package management side, I recently fully transitioned my monorepos to pnpm. When you are dealing with heavy Next.js and Prisma dependencies across multiple ongoing projects, the disk space savings and installation speeds that pnpm offers over standard npm are an absolute game-changer.
