Bring Your Book to Life—With Ease, Flow, and Full Confidence

You have a story to share, experience and expertise to help others, a message to deliver, and a vision to bring to life.

You’re sharing this through your business, your podcast, or your social media but you've always felt like there was a book in you. Maybe you’re just getting started or maybe you’re needing a little support along the way.

The journey of writing your book is a new exciting adventure often full of the unknown. It can feel overwhelming at times—like you’re navigating a maze of ideas, emotions, and self-doubt all on your own.

You don’t have to do it on your own. You might want a pep talk and some problem solving to get you back in your writing rhythm, someone to walk alongside and support you as you navigate writing your book, or an editor to polish and present your ideas exactly how you always envisioned. I can help.

Your book can feel inspiring, joyful, and empowering for you throughout the creation process as well as for your readers when it’s their turn to experience it.

Let’s make the experience of writing and birthing your book into the world better than you could have ever imagined.

Your Story. Your Vision. Your Way.

I’m Kerryn Trisha. Writer, editor, and writing coach who has worked with clients writing in the self-help, leadership, memoir, and erotic romance genres. I’m passionate about supporting women’s stories and sharing women’s wisdom.

I live my life and operate my business led by my intuition, aligned with my menstrual cycle, the moon, and the seasons. I find guidance in astrology, tarot & oracle cards, guided meditation, and my spirit guides.

I’m over 60,000 words (and counting) into writing my own book about detoxing from our hyper-productive society and learning a new way of living in cyclical rhythm guided by the seasons. I share this experience and the experience of fellow creatives on my podcast, The Creative Midwife Show.

I’m also a stay-at-home mum to a 9-year-old daughter and 6-year-old son, living in New Zealand with my husband of 20+ years, and our black cat.

Listen to past clients share their experience working with me.

Whether you’re writing a memoir, self-help or leadership book, fiction novel, oracle deck, or are simply feeling called to work with me on a different kind of project. I would love to hear from you about your project and writing experience.

Sharing your story, your expertise, and your truth is already a courageous act.

It takes you on a personal growth journey full of vulnerability. It teaches you the lessons and wisdom you are writing about in a deeper way. The journey you are creating for your readers through your book will be the same experience you go through in the creation process. You are putting so much of your energy into this process you can’t help but come out the other side changed by it.

If having someone to help you figure out the structure, flow, and process feels like a weight lifted off your shoulders. If having someone support you through navigating the feelings and emotions coming up along this journey feels like a soft place to rest.

Let’s talk about working together.

Writing Coaching

Whether you’re just starting your book, wading through the messy middle, or pushing through the final chapters, I’ll be your guide every step of the way.

Together we’ll:

  • Start strong. Build a safe, supportive foundation so your words flow with ease and you have an abundance of space to write.

  • Stay aligned. Write your book as a true expression of your voice and vision, adapting your book structure and writing routine to keep supporting you as you and your book evolves.

  • Finish with clarity. Navigate that sometimes chaotic first draft with confidence to bring it all together at the end with power and impact.

“I wanna keep you forever. Listening to you speak soothes my soul. I feel so supported, heard and healed. Thank you, thank you, thank you. When you said to me... is that distraction or is that your process? It just landed. Thank you so much for giving me that permission slip to allow myself to be whatever I need to be.”  - Victoria Bond

You’ll have:

  • Daily voice-messaging through Whatsapp for any moment of confusion, all your questions, and celebrating the big and small milestones along the way.

  • An expert second opinion. Someone with the eye to read over your pages when you’re tempted to throw it out. Someone to hold the vision for your project when you’re in doubt.

  • Personalised writing structures and habit-building rhythms to match your unique creative flow so the words come with ease. Guided by your Human Design, menstrual cycle (hormonal) alignment, and neuro-spicy needs.

  • Emotional & mindset support for overcoming creative block and healing triggers that may arise from writing and reflecting on your own journey and topics close to your heart.

  • Full access to ask me anything from creative rhythms and writing tools to the editing process, publishing options, or anything else you need to birth your book into the world.

You can receive support, guidance, and coaching for as much or as little of your creative process and book writing journey with a focus on your creative empowerment, emotional experience, and natural rhythm of creation.

  • Make confident creative & strategic decisions about your book. Receive support and guidance to tap into your own intuition and inner knowing so you can lead yourself through this book creation experience making confident creative and strategic decisions that feel great to you. You are the expert on you, your desires, and the vision you hold for your book.

  • Embrace the emotional & creative experience of producing your book. Be held in a space where all emotions, triggers, and evolutions are welcome. Whether it’s your inner critic, imposter syndrome, or fear of what other’s will say elbowing in on your flow and writing time. They can be tamed and vanquished.

  • Align with your natural rhythm of creation. Lean into divine timing and work with the ebbs and flow of your creative nature. Learn about the seasonal cycle of creation that mirrors the cycle of Winter, Spring, Summer, and Autumn. Receive support and guidance in trusting the process and working with the timing the Universe has for you.

Choose your own duration for one-on-one coaching

$1000 NZD / month or $333 NZD for one week.

In one week together we can cover:

  • Refining your writing routine. Establish rhythms, clear the space for structure, and create a clean, simple approach to your writing process.

  • Clearing blocks and building confidence. Work through doubts and hesitations distracting you from getting the words on the page.

  • Next steps in your writing journey. Identify and tackle the step in writing, editing, and publishing your book, so the process feels less daunting and you can move forward with ease.

If after one week together you decide to extend into a monthly package your $333 NZD will be credited towards your first month.

In one month of working together, Francesca wrote the final chapters of her first draft.

In two months working together, Victoria began writing her book with support in creating her book structure, writing routines, and support as she settled into her rhythm.

In two months working together, Amanda went from the brief to “share her story” in 3000 words to finding her core idea, first draft, and submitting her edited chapter.

Editing Services

You’ve poured your heart into your book and now it’s time to shape it into the vision you’ve dreamed of all this time.

As an editor, I am focused on elevating your writing, getting your message across to your reader in the clearest most easy to understand way, all while keeping your voice and vision intact.

I consider it my job to give you options for how to shape your words, your pages, your chapters into the most impactful book possible and to support you to stand in your full creative power so choosing the best option for you is easy.

This is truly a collaborative experience where you are the Creative Director of your work and you get to be supported in navigating the creative and strategic decisions you’ll make for your book.

Throughout the editing process I support you through any and all emotions that come up through this process so you can intuitively lead yourself in receiving feedback and making decisions that honour your full creative self expression.

"I could not imagine trying to go and find an editor because, for me personally, it’s such an intimate experience to share your writing with someone and then ask for critical feedback. That’s shadow work central. So for you to be well versed in all that nuance and understanding [that experience of receiving feedback on your baby and the emotions, the fears it can bring up] is just fucking gold." - Rose Tautari

Get in touch and let’s chat about your project. Email me at [email protected] or send me a message on Instagram @kerryn.trisha.

You don’t have to do anything to get your book “ready for editing”. If you have a completed first draft, as rough or messy as it may be, then we can work together in shaping your book into the polished vision you hold for it.

“I also love what you said about the structural bit being a super power because I definitely feel like that is just already from what you’ve shared with me. I kinda look of it like you’re an organiser of ideas. Sometimes as the writer you’re like here are my ideas and you just need someone to objectively look at it and be like I think this should go here, here, and here. I feel like that’s what you’re going to do for this book which is really, really cool.”  - Tash Leam

I’ve had clients reach out to work with me as their editor before they have completed their first draft, using it as motivation to get that first draft done. You can also look at my writing coaching for support in completing your first draft.

Equally, you may want to self-edit and get your manuscript as close as you can to your vision by yourself before getting the support of an editor. If you’d like to do this but need some guidance a week of my writing coaching or an editorial review of your first few chapters might give you the help you need.

“I’m so happy to be doing this with you because I know you have the right amount of good sacral energy, the attention, the passion for writing, the understanding. I'm just so happy that I invested in the editing services with you because this right now feels safe, playful, like wow. I was so happy to pay you, too. This is exciting. I’ll start by saying that I really trust you. I’m really feeling very safe and comfortable to do this with you.” - Francesca Satta

My expertise is not only in the details of sentence structure and grammar but in bringing structure and flow to your book, so your ideas are communicated in the most impactful way to your reader.

“I absolutely loved all of the comments you made. I didn’t feel overwhelmed at all. I actually felt lit up when I read them because I thought, oh yeah, I should really add in these bits that you’ve highlighted and elaborate here, here, and here rather than sometimes keeping it a bit more succinct. I love the way you’ve added in the comments and the questions you’ve asked around them as well to give me an opportunity to think about it and expand and tweak how things are reading so thank you.”  - Tash Leam

We’ll collaborate in a way that works best for your creative process through each editing pass to reach the final ready-to-print manuscript, covering everything from overall structure and flow to a final proofread and line edit.

This usually looks something like this...

  1. Developmental edit. Review of the overall structure of your book to provide feedback and guidance on the structure and flow of all your ideas and how to communicate those ideas clearly and cohesively.

  1. Copy edit. Review of your book chapter by chapter, idea by idea to ensure every paragraph, every story, every sentence supports and communicates your message with clarity and impact.

  1. Line edit. Review of every word, every letter, every grammatical character of your book in its print-ready form including print formatting to have your manuscript looking its best in print or e-book form.

We might do more than one copy edit depending on how much change is introduced to the manuscript through the first copy edit. I will also make sure that any new sections added into the manuscript after the first copy edit get reviewed for copy and line edits. Every word will get an editorial eye over it, twice over!

We begin with an Editorial Review ($500 NZD) where I get to know you and your book by reviewing your introduction and the first three chapters of your book. This will be a development edit and as much of a copy edit as makes sense for this stage of your book.

You’ll get full access to ask me anything on Whatsapp for the duration of the Editorial Review or for a minimum of one week.

This is a great way to get a feel for how we’ll work together and gain clarity on what editing package would be the best fit. Not everyone wants the full three pass edit for their book, so we can put together a custom package to suit your needs. If you decide to work with me further the $500 will be credited towards the total cost of your editing package.

Editing Package Options

(based on a manuscript of up to 80,000 words)

  • All-inclusive editing package for $5000 NZD.

  • Custom editing packages from $2000 NZD per editing pass.

Payment plan options are available.

To get started we:

  • open our Whatsapp chat for all your editorial questions and emotional support through what is likely the first feedback on your book.

  • discuss timelines and set a flexible timeframe that allows for life happening and intuitive guidance but equally has us on the same page.

  • decide how best to collaborate on your manuscript, what writing application you’re using, and how I can mark up and suggest changes to your manuscript in a way that works with your creative and decision-making process.

  • discuss style choices for grammar and word usage. There really are no rules, only what readers have come to expect, and what will support the clear communication of your message and ideas.

  • dive into your first edit where I start reading, making notes, voice messaging you to share my excitement and squeal over the parts that I love, as well as starting discussions on how we can make the book stronger.
