I've just uncovered another TOTV raw tape, never rewound, unlabelled and unprotected. Tooker and a friend take their collection of plastic they've been saving for years, to the Canadian Plastics Institute in the suburbs of Toronto, because maybe they know what to with it.
Travelling by bike, then subway, then city bus they get dropped off on an off-ramp of the 401 (I think). They do find an office which they walk right in on, adding some unusual colour to the receptionist's day.
There are a great selection of hilarious moments and random streeter interviews of people they encounter along the way, incl. with what looks like a mafia don mtg in the donut shop near the airport. I'm probably stereotyping here.
Before coffee they meet up with a parking lot salesperson hawking electric shavers and Tooker makes an impromptu AD for him. lol
