I'm a picture book author, library professional, editor, and lifelong believer in the power of stories. I write heartfelt books about friendship, family, belonging, and the big feelings that shape childhood.

When I'm not writing, you'll usually find me reading, researching children's literature, supporting fellow writers, or chasing story ideas inspired by my family, my community, and my experiences growing up as the oldest of seven siblings.
