Evidence Discovery, Security and Delivery Tools
To support my development of the Evidence Discovery tool set, you can buy me coffee. Supporting security-first software helps ensure our software products are safe and behave well with each other under pressure (According to the Nations Institute for Standards and Technology). For user documentation and demonstration videos on the Evidence Discovery project and PictureTextCrop, see my posts here at BuyMeACoffee.
My firm belief is that secure technology which empowers at home, in business, and even in Court is the right of every human being, and I am dedicated to developing the tools to provide it to you. Current digital technology is intrinsically insecure because it was designed to provide developer freedom and power through maximizing mutability of the storage and other resources included in the various stacks available. There is no attempt even in standard university software developer education to teach secure programming methods even though principles, methods and practices exist and can be derived to limit resource mutability. Even internet routing and activity logs are written to re-writable media rather than to immutable media like DVD and BluRay. This is the same as writing business file access logs in pencil. All you need is a root kit and a bot-net to change the logs to conceal almost any nefarious activity.
We need tools we can use securely now!
Note:
Currently this project is only developed for Linux Operating System distributions which are Debian based, which includes all Ubuntu based distributions. My personal favorite is Linux Mint.
