We are KEFIRSSTUDIO - a non-profit collective creating experimental art events and residencies that connect young artists with the community and the environment.
In August 2025, we organized Simbioze 2.0, a week-long outdoor art residency and public program in the historic Skujene. We brought together 50 artists from Latvia and beyond, across performance, sound, fashion and visual arts, to create, experiment, live and build a shared culture space from the ground up.
We are grateful to receive support from the European Solidarity Corps and Valsts Kultūrkapitāla fonds, which helped us cover the foundation - infrastructure, artist participation, and the core program.
But the beauty of a living, growing art project is that it often outgrows its spreadsheets - and that’s where your support can help us close the gap.
